Since 2007, Q-Fog has supplied the original model of the mobile sprinkler which was offered as a base and double. It has been the market’s most effective fire protection system against deadly fires. It is an automatic and active residential sprinkler that saves lives, is cost-effective and works in any room. Now there is the next generation, 2.0, of mobile systems with high-pressure fog. It is now possible to order units with protection for one to five rooms, which provides cost-effective and comprehensive fire protection for up to three rooms and kitchens including the hall with one and the same unit.

When the aesthetics require it, there is a stylish cover as an option. It can also be color-matched if needed.
A base unit can be equipped with zone valves that feed nozzles in adjacent rooms. In each room to be protected, a multi-detector is mounted in the ceiling. Five zones are the maximum per unit.
2.0 has built-in communication that transmits technical and sharp alarms. If someone disconnects the battery charger’s power supply, an alarm is sent after 60 seconds.

What is water mist?
A fire requires access to heat, oxygen and fuel to continue burning. Q-Fog’s product effectively handles these components of an incipient fire. The fog has a unique ability to absorb heat and water damage is very limited. Even hidden fires can be controlled as the water mist fills the entire volume of the room being protected within a couple of minutes. The extinguishing process mainly consists of these parts:
• Absorption of thermal radiation
• Cooling of the gas in the area around the fire
• Cooling of fuel and potential fire areas
• Asphyxiation, when the fog evaporates, oxygen is displaced from the fire source as each water molecule expands 1700 times its size
Customized and installed based on your need
In cases where our customers want different performance than the standard version, we have the opportunity to make several modifications, which makes the mobile sprinkler suitable for many different environments. In its original design, the Q-Fog portable unit is perfectly adapted for an ordinary room in a home, but what happens if the room to be protected does not comply with the standard? Low ceilings, partition walls or other obstacles… No problem! Our model 2.0 can be equipped with individually controlled nozzles (max 5 pcs), these can be positioned to provide optimal protection for virtually any type of room. In this way, even several rooms can be protected individually with one and the same basic system.

Our solution is the most effective when it comes to saving lives in the starting fire cell. Even bed fires can end happily thanks to our early detection.
Since the system is based on the spreading of water mist, mopping and wiping flat surfaces and airing is usually sufficient. On a few occasions, parquet floors have suffered damage to the surface layer.
An annual service where a function test is performed is the recommended minimum. After each activation, an overhaul and refilling of the tank must take place.
We can build units without a tank in cases where connection to tap water is desired. For the protection of a room, the height of the unit will be only 55 cm. For more zones, the height of the base unit is 80 cm. It can still provide protection to (up to) five rooms.
